Dominik Tarczynski: Always Grateful to The Republicans of United States for Freedom

Dominik Tarczyński was born on March 27, 1979, in Poland. He is a lawyer and a Polish politician, currently serving as a Member of the European Parliament. He graduated in law from the Faculty of Law, Canon Law, and Administration at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. From 2003 to 2008, he lived in London, where he led the community at Westminster Cathedral and worked at a Polish radio station.

In 2008, after visiting Colombia, he directed the film “Colombia – A Testimony to the World,” which won the first prize at the 16th International Catholic Festival of Films and Multimedia in Niepokalanow in 2011. From 2009 to 2011, he served as a director at Polish Television. In 2015, he was elected as a Member of the Sejm (the lower house of the Polish Parliament), where he was a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Committee for European Union Affairs. He also chaired the subcommittee for the EU trade agreement with the United States and the Parliament’s Delegation to the Council of Europe. In 2018, he became the Vice-Chair of the European Conservatives Group in the Council of Europe. In the same year, he received the prestigious award from the American conservative organization “Phyllis Schlafly Eagles” in St. Louis.

In May 2019, he was elected as a Member of the European Parliament. As an MEP, he is a member of the International Trade Committee, the Foreign Affairs Committee, and the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee. He also works in the Delegation for Relations with the United States. Tarczyński is a parliamentarian actively involved in international law issues related to the war in Ukraine. As one of the first MEPs, he traveled to Kharkiv and Izium at the beginning of Russia’s aggression in Ukraine to document the genocide against Ukrainians. He presented the results of his research at national and international academic conferences and symposiums from 2022 to 2024.
