Fuck Apple support
I just wanted to state that sentence, because a few years ago, there were Apple stores in just about any city. Now there are only 3 left in the entire country of Belgium. Which is completely unacceptable, in my opinion. But that being said, after 20 hours without my Iphone, my issues are solved, my Iphone 11 is completely trashed, and I had to buy a new phone. So, that is the first of my costs of yesterday and today.
Other costs
But then there is the fact of being without a smartphone costs me too in my daytime job. I am self employed, and without smartphone, I am kind of like a construction worker without limbs. I can't do shit. So, that is the second cost of the last two days, work didn't get done, and that costs me money.
But the last factor, I really didn't calculate in yet, at least, it wasn't in my head before it happened. It costs me crypto returns too. I couldn't post, vote nor transact on Hive, Appics and other platforms. So that is a waste of voting power and curation rewards. And I couldn't act on the market with my portfolio, because I wasn't able to go online, unless a computer was nearby. But once your used to doing things on your smartphone, without having to input passwords or keys, you're not really onto in on a PC.
So, that is something we have to be prepared for in the future. We really need a spare smartphone, if we want to be able to stay active on these blockchains every single day.
Think about it, without a smartphone, almost nothing is possible in this moderne world. I witnessed it from my perspective, and it was painful...
But hé, we're back and good to get things done again!

😊I am also a Pele fan, I had his book, "The beautiful game". Sorry about your phone and losses. The smartphone is very important for everyday transaction, everything can be done with ease and best of all 'internet'. The invention and progress so far has been insane. It is a nice idea to have a spare smartphone especially for business purpose.

I have a spare smartphone, it's actually my prior one, but never owned Apple. Most of my phones were Samsungs.

Sorry to hear that. This makes me remember all the videos I watched from Louis Rossman about how bad Apple Support is. They will try their best to not fix your phone and force you to buy a new one.
