I would say that baseball is falling off a bit with the younger kids, they are more into football (American) and basketball...along with video games. LOL
Soccer still doesnt have much interest that I can see.

I agree that athletes to be selected for matches must have their merits and not be chosen because of their famous names.
This was for the all star game. And the Mets player sucked this year. They underperformed so they were not deserving of it.
