I can see your point that just having 20-30 people in a threadcast, especially sports can create huge amount of activity. It is nice to be part of it and to find some other fans watching a game live at the same time like fish.
Yeah. It can quickly skyrocket. We are talking in hundreds, then it will be thousands of comments.
I saw it on other types of blogs that has a comment section that followed games. Thousands of comments during a 9 inning baseball game.
