Well I think it would appeal to the crypto people. I am hoping he does win since it means more friendly crypto policies.

That would be another game-changer. If two or three of these countries go this route and then bitcoin goes to $150k or something, you're going to see a lot more countries taking it seriously. Especially the poor ones with really no way to escape the financial clubs the rich countries wield.

It is interesting how we are seeing the poor countries stepping up in an effort to get around the richer ones.
If the UDG is powerless to stop Bitcoin in Paraguay or El Salvatore, then it is also powerless to do it among its own citizens.
Thankfully Hive is spreading out more, putting it out of reach of the governments.

That's true. Paraguay looks like a great match for crypto since they could really use the money and have a lot of cheap hydro power

Another country that is pushing Bitcoin into the mainstream narrative.
We are seeing it spread. And while Bitcoin is getting that attention, we are seeing development taking place all over the industry.
Things are marching ahead at a rapid pace.

I hope he wins. Paraguay has a good influence in south America and maybe, if we get a better president here in brazil, we could follow their steps and push crypto in here as well
