The best way to store bitcoin is in an offline paper wallet which is encrypted with a password. You download the bit address.com source file, run it on a computer which is not online ideally never online. Generate an address and key with encryption. Print off several copies, store them in several locations and keep your password to yourself or whatever. This is the only way to truly store your Bitcoin.
