You had a good day it seems. I bet you tried out everything at the playground, even though those were not for you 😂
Jokes aside, I'm shocked to see your sister is carrying your nephew on the bike. You would get arrested for that and child protection you most likely take the child away for child endangerment.
Lol I actually didn’t get to try that many things. I also wanted to hop on the train ride though but too many people were watching so I controlled my inner child.
It’s a normal thing around here so I’m surprised to hear it’s a crime around your place. People ride bikes carrying their kids all the time here. Maybe it’s also because we don’t have cps here.
So is it that mothers are not allowed to pick their kids on bikes?
If you carry a child on your bicycle, the bicycle has to have a seat for the kid and the kid has to have helmet. But this refers to kids and not babies. Motorbikes are a different thing though.
This is a very new thing to me and I’m sure it is to most people around Ghana and Nigeria. Around here our bikes don't have compartments to carry children. Unless of course you customize one on your bike yourself. I'm sure you see on my sister's bike. I think it’s a great safety measure though for the safety of children.
Trust me, it's for the safety of the children. These things are taken seriously and because there are street cameras everywhere, you can't get away with it.
When I see what's going on in Nigerian, India, Thailand, all those bikes going in every direction, without respecting any rules ... oh God! It gives me the headache 🤕
I think with regards to the safety of children, it’s because we don’t have any body like cps. Regular road safety rules like helmets and stuff are still a thing. Police are not all around the country, so you don’t see most of the laws enforced in the smaller towns and villages. It is in the big cities you see people following laws strictly: because there’s law enforcement to exercise penalties if they don’t.
