RE: The Home Worker

What a great piece Steve! I think what makes it so amusing is that it is so relatable. I mean this was and is still so many people's lives. It is so easy to allow oneself to slide into just doing the bare minimum whilst working from home... I mean I have to get up and take my kids to school so I do have to get dressed lol but generally, I still dress very casually these days when I am WFH... often in loungewear... and in summer t-shirt and shorts lol... but I am still focussed on the job at hand. Even when I go into the office I dress smart casual... jeans or cargoes and a nice top with sketches... and I'm an accountant lol... oh how the world has changed! For the better I think in a lot of ways. And in others...hmmm...always mixed thoughts.

Not sure Dorian will ever live that down but it was a common occurrence during the lockdowns.

Apparently adding herbs to your garbage can makes it smell better.
But I don't have thyme for that rubbish.

I am also taking my son to the kindergarden so have an excuse to get dressed. But things are much more relaxed now and less formal it seems than before. Like you say, many good things workwise have come out of it, but a few not so good ones too. Its hard to weight it up. That's a funny co-incidence that you are also an accountant! lol
Thanks for visiting and your time reading.
