RE: Lydia's Heart.

in The Ink Welllast year

A nicely balanced piece and an enjoyable read. You draw us in. We feel the love and warmth between mother and son, and the interaction between mother and father is also realistic. We are invested in the future of Lydia and her son and want the best for them, and so when she decides that she will not give her ex an easy free pass back into their lives, whilst we feel for her heartache, we applaud her as a mom.
