I would remove the 7-days payout period and make a system where posts would in some way remain able to receive votes regardless if they would be even years old.

If this was possible, it would be possible to vote on the same post twice, by powering down and powering up with a different account.

But then again, since powering down is slow and are occupying the current HP one would power down, wouldn't it just be easier anyways just making a bunch of comments or Posts and self vote those? I fail to see how this would make problems for abusing since there are already easier ways to abuse the system lol.

It would be exploitable. If it becomes more profitable to stay in powerdown and move the HP from account to account, people will actually do that.

This has been a question since the very beginning and (believe it or not) you are not the first one to make such a suggestion. Honestly, it is kind of stupid, like sun's idea to make the powerdown period shorter than the posting reward window. It makes no sense and doesn't fkn work. (lol)

Justin probably just plans to do exactly what you suggested lol.
