Hello friends,
Kakava Hıdırellez Festivals are held in Edirne every year.
Known as cheerful people, Roma celebrate Kakava festivities by making preparations days in advance.
This year, celebrations were not held due to Covid-19.
According to Gypsy beliefs, Kakava is a belief originating from Egypt and Asia Minor.
The festivities are celebrated on the 5th and 6th days of May every year.
Roma, who come to the banks of the Tunca River, wash their faces in the river as a ritual, some Roma enter the river and leave their wishes to the river.
Everyone writes their wishes on a piece of paper and hangs it on a tree.
Bir kağıda herkes dileklerini yazıp ağaca asar.
Love, money, peace :)
Aşk, para, huzur :)
