My nationality is Venezuelan, and like many of you, English is not my native language.
This policy of writing in English is not accidental.
We demand this language so that our publications have a universal character. Not only to write here on Hive but on any other platform where we decide to make a living as bloggers or content creators. Even if you are going to opt for some online job as a freelancer, you must also send emails and interact by writing and/or speaking English.
The fact of facing a second language represents a requirement that we must add to our day to day, therefore we must do our best if we really want to stand out above the rest.
Online translators are an indispensable tool for us who are not fully fluent in English, but translators such as "Google Translator" for example, while working as spell checkers, do not allow us to correct or improve the "Grammar" in our texts.

I recently got to know Grammarly app.
Using artificial intelligence, itis able to check spelling, punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, and even English style with natural language processing. It also includes a plagiarism detector in its paid version (Premium).
I have been using it for about a month and I am satisfied with the results, since, in addition to being completely intuitive, it is able to give us the suggestions or corrections in real-time, allowing me to save time avoiding subsequent revisions.
Alerts
Grammarly handles 4 types of correction alerts:
Red Alert (Correctness): Improves spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Blue Alert (Clarity): Helps make your writing easier to understand.
Green Alert (Engagement): Helps make your writing more interesting and effective.
Purple Alert (Delivery): Helps you make the right impression on your reader.
Tone Detector
One aspect that totally captured my attention was the tool to detect the "TONE" in which our texts are written, through the use of a series of emojis.
Tone is the key to effective writing.
Whether you want to sound friendly (but not informal) or concerned (but not angry), choosing your tone wisely is key to getting your message across effectively.

My view about english
As english is International language spoken across the whole globe its as important as our daily needs, I dont think Grammer mistake is a big mistake but if you can transfer your sayings ( what you really want to say ) or convey your message You are doing perfect .
The Best thing is we shouldn't stop writing english if we are having mistakes as experience always increase ability .

grammarly is a nice application, have used it a couple of time (and still use it). but sometimes I prefer using my own human knowledge of English to write

In my particular case, I am always looking for ways to correct my writing. I do not really master the English Language and many times I feel insecure, I do not want to write something wrong or perhaps I am not able to convey my thoughts clearly.

Well, this is really surprising, it's true that more and more inventions are emerging that make the process easier, but, and the question arises, do you think you could change your writing style by letting yourself be carried away by what AI detects?
One has a specific way of writing, expressing oneself, which is in line with life philosophy, education, values, etc.

AI is here to stay. We must be aware that each day it is gaining more space in our lives and as part of the evolution process, we must accept it and learn to live with it.
But we must make a great effort to preserve our humanity. Those "gentle" aspects, like the fine arts, are what distinguishes us from other living beings and from the technology that pretends to imitate us.
As an English teacher and writer, I was very surprised to see that Grammarly can "write" or edit as well as it does.
I don't need it or use it myself, but apparently it can be a very valuable "assistant" to many people who have to write anything in English. It may not be perfect, but neither am I.

Frankly speaking, my grammar was never good, and my grades for any writing tasks were very low. I must confess that sometimes I use the help of some services, because I Hate Writing, and this site helps me choose a service that can help me, even if I need a paper urgently.
