Recently, a new tax payment for people using banks has been mandated... Any transactions that are 10,000 Naira and above will occur a charge of 50 Naira from the sender and recipient, millions of people do transactions daily so 100 Naira from those millions of people, just imagine how much the government will be earning daily now at the expense of the citizens that they are not taking care of.
The annoying part is they are imitating other foreign countries in tax and other things that affect the citizens but it never occurred to them to also copy those countries in serving their citizens by providing good roads, jobs and also providing for the disabled, unemployed, and old people.
All Nigerian government knows how to do is tax the people and use the money they gather to enrich their pockets and banks, The money most of our politicians own can not be finished even if their coming 5th generation lavishes it. Why hoard so much when we have millions of people suffering, some people can't afford two meals a day yet our president's son comes online to boast of a wristwatch he bought for 360 million Naira, this money can elevate 50 Nigerian citizens and change their status cos that is above 7m for each citizen, If he can spend 360m Naira on Wrist Watch, Imagine how much he will spend on his house and cars.

I believe we will continue to survive, thanks to the remote job that helps us to earn in dollars, life would have been hard for many of us, no wonder the crime rate in the country is increasing, people do what they need to do to survive but those criminals also only affect their fellow trying to survive instead of channeling their energy towards the government.
Today I also got that the father of one of the richest men in Nigeria was a Politician and in fact was a governor for few months before he was dethroned by Sanni Abacha a former president of Nigeria, so it is now obvious how he got to be one of the richest, it is linked to his father's wealth.
The point is not to envy the rich because it was their forefathers that left it for them, so families in nigeria can never be poor again because of the effort of their fathers and grandfathers...

Whatever happening in your country is like government are sucking the blood of general people. I also have feel it as it happened to my country also and adding tax is not logical in many cases.

The source of our problems is voting Tinubu. Imagine having to miss the Buhari era so much even when it was really terrible. Tinubu is your "steal from the masses and enrich myself" type of guy.
The poverty is too much out there, and sadly when people don't get radical and change their leaders this country will only get worse.
