Hello everyone and @cycling community 🤗. November twenty second our house is still flooded. Just a little more days and it's Christmas 🎄. Can't feel that it's coming, tropical cyclone Pepito international name Man-yi leaves an outstanding finale for this year. We had three evacuation, I thought that there'll be another. But this time we didn't need to leave our house, we can endure the depth of the flood. I know it's been a week since the storm exit from country. But because our place is on a lower ground, we have no choice but to catch all the flood from the higher places.
It's really annoying and because
my son's bike just landed on the road he was afraid that it might sunk and get rusty so he bought a cling film plastic wrap to put his bike to safety. It looks more cleaner rather than to wrap it with old blanket.
I was sleeping soundly he woke us up because the water is spilling from the other side of the road. We need to adjust our bed so it won't get wet.
And now it's time to hang my son's bike. It was heavy so I wasn't able to take pictures while we helped him. He also need to remove the front wheel, I'm weak when it comes to putting things up. I don't know what will happen to our stuff if my kids are young as Ria and Jj. Jj is eight and Ria is only five.
Many people admire my son because instead of he can ride his bike when he needs to buy something. He just walk, he doesn't want to leave it in our neighbors. You all know that some of his bike parts are from his fruit of his hardwork. Have a safe paddling cyclist.
Thank you for reading

Oh, no! Water and a bicycle are no good combination. Good idea to hang it on the ceiling.
I hope for you the water recedes quickly.

Oh, I'm so sorry you have to go through that! It doesn't look good to be in a place and it starts to flood and you have to leave it... I know they are material things and preserving life comes first, but as you say, they are things that have a lot of effort and sacrifice in their history... like your son's bike.
Stay safe. I think hanging up the bike was a good idea.
