Reckless: No es la mejor trama del mundo
Hay libros que nos atrapan desde el primer momento y otros que en definitiva cuestan mucho más. Hace poquito les había comentado que tenía sagas pendientes por terminar este año y decidí comenzar por el libro más avanzado que tuviera básicamente y en este caso fue la lectura de Reckless de Lauren Roberts, el segundo libro de la saga de Powerless, hay un libro anterior a este es el 1.5, pero realmente no quise leerlo y pues decidí pasarme a este. Este libro a mí no me había llamado mucho la atención cuando lo comencé a leer y la verdad es que no mejoró. Tengo varias opiniones al respecto, así que hablemos un poquito de esto.
There are books that grab us from the first moment and others that ultimately cost much more. A little while ago I told you that I had sagas pending to finish this year and I decided to start with the most advanced book I had basically and in this case it was the reading of Reckless by Lauren Roberts, the second book of the Powerless saga, there is a previous book to this one, 1.5, but I really didn't want to read it and I decided to move on to this one. This book had not really caught my attention when I started reading it and the truth is that it didn't get any better. I have several opinions about it, so let's talk a little bit about this.
Recordamos rápidamente que en el libro anterior había terminado con Paedyn huyendo de la ciudad, debido a que había asesinado al rey. Básicamente, todo este libro se trata de Kai tratando de buscarla a ella, la encuentra, trata de llevarla de vuelta para que enfrente sus crímenes básicamente, pero ellos evidentemente tienen demasiada atención amorosa. Mi problema con este libro es el abuso excesivo con la atención, porque si tienes dos personajes que se demuestran tanto amor o sentimiento, yo siento que no puedes abusar de ese recurso todo el tiempo. Básicamente, este libro no tiene trama, la trama es y de un lado hacia otro sin ningún sentido tratando de que estos tengan más momentos solos y al final honestamente a mí no me gustó para nada. Si te regala buenos momentos, para mí lo mejor de este libro siempre será Kai. Es un personaje masculino que de verdad vale la pena leer porque es muy lindo, pero siento que no es suficiente como para darle tanta buena puntuación a este libro. Básicamente, el mundo no está construido también, debido a que con respecto a demasiadas dudas con los personajes que tienen poderes, hay muchas dudas con los personajes que no tienen poderes hay muchos personajes de relleno y realmente no aportan demasiado la trama y eso lo hace todo un poco aburrido.
We quickly remember that in the previous book it had ended with Paedyn fleeing the city, due to the fact that he had murdered the king. Basically, this whole book is about Kai trying to find her, he finds her, he tries to bring her back to face her crimes basically, but they evidently have too much love attention. My problem with this book is the overuse with the attention, because if you have two characters showing each other so much love or feeling, I feel like you can't abuse that resource all the time. Basically, this book has no plot, the plot is and back and forth without any sense trying to make them have more moments alone and in the end I honestly didn't like it at all. If it gives you good moments, for me the best of this book will always be Kai. He's a male character that is really worth reading because he's cute, but I feel like it's not enough to give this book that good of a score. Basically, the world is not built too, because of too many doubts with the characters that have powers, there are too many doubts with the characters that don't have powers, there are too many filler characters and they don't really add much to the plot and that makes it all a bit boring.
Yo la verdad es que había abandonado esta historia dos veces, pero decidí terminarla para darle justamente un cierre a todo esto y esperar al próximo libro. Yo honestamente no lo iba a leer, pero es que el personaje de Kai. A mí me gusta mucho y también cuando hay libros que no me encantan, prefiero leerlos para saber qué fue esa historia y que mi mente no quedara totalmente inconclusa. El primer libro me gustó bastante más, no es lo mejor del mundo, también es un libro bastante flojo, pero se disfruta un poco más porque tiene un poquito más de sentido, aunque hay muchas cosas que realmente se pudieran mejorar. Hay muchas personas que opinan que el primer libro es un plagio, yo no lo considero así y me he leído casi todas las hadas con las que lo han comparado, pero sí es importante decir que es un libro que está inspirado en varias sagas que ya están consolidadas y la verdad es que no es tan sólido. Pero en términos generales es una historia que distrae, las recomiendo si quieren una fantasía muy ligera, donde no van a tener que pensar demasiado y solamente quieren pasar un rato sabiendo que no es la mejor lectura del mundo. I had actually abandoned this story twice, but I decided to finish it to give it some closure and wait for the next book. I honestly wasn't going to read it, but it's that Kai's character. I really like him and also when there are books that I don't love, I prefer to read them so I know what that story was and my mind wasn't left totally unfinished. I liked the first book a lot more, it's not the best in the world, it's also a pretty weak book, but it's a little more enjoyable because it makes a little more sense, although there are many things that could really be improved. There are many people who think that the first book is a plagiarism, I do not consider it so and I have read almost all the fairies with which it has been compared, but it is important to say that it is a book that is inspired by several sagas that are already consolidated and the truth is that it is not so solid. But in general terms it is a story that distracts, I recommend it if you want a very light fantasy, where you will not have to think too much and just want to spend some time knowing that it is not the best reading in the world.
