make healthy snacks without flour with a savory and crispy taste

in Plant Power (Vegan)4 months ago

Day by day, I really don't use sugar anymore after 6 months and my life is also fine, then at this time I am also still learning to avoid flour and looking for substitute ingredients so that I can still make delicious and filling snacks and Of course, I make it myself because the products on the market for this type of healthy food are very expensive, while when I make it myself the price is very much below standard and it is much more economical than buying similar products on the market.

Apart from being economical, the way to make it is also not difficult and more and more I produce recipes day by day using only simple ingredients that are often in my refrigerator and making this snack also doesn't take a long time and takes less than 30 minutes to complete the recipe. You can also do other light things at the same time..he..he..

When I make this snack I need ingredients that are easy to find

1. 300 grams of sweet potato

2. 250 grams of fresh grated coconut (if you have more coconut than sweet potatoes, it doesn't matter, in fact the mixture will be much more tasty and when baked, the cake will taste more fragrant.)

3. The oatmeal used in this recipe is a substitute for wheat flour or any flour and the use of oatmeal in this recipe makes the cake we produce much crispier and in this recipe I use 5 tablespoons of oatmel

4. I use the salt in this recipe as a flavor enhancer so that it tastes much more savory and blends well with the grated coconut. The amount of salt in this recipe is only a little ½ teaspoon

The way to make this snack is:

1. Peel the sweet potatoes, wash them until clean, then cut them into small pieces so that when they are steamed, they don't take long to cook.

2. Once the sweet potato is cooked, mash it using a spoon and once smooth, mix the grated coconut in it

3. then mix in the oatmel

4. And the last thing is the salt. After that, stir until all the ingredients are evenly mixed (I forgot to take a photo)

5. After all the ingredients are mixed well, take the dough little by little and then round it using your hands, then flatten it using a fork to get the right texture.

6. After all the dough was molded, then I heated a little olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over low heat, then once it was hot, put the dough into the pan and cover it so that it heats evenly.

7. After you can smell the aroma of coconut, turn the mixture over for about 2 minutes, then wait another 2 minutes, then remove the snack and you can enjoy it.

Don't make this snack because it can make you addicted. The savory taste produced from grated coconut and a little salt combines with the natural sweet taste of sweet potato to make the taste on the tongue balanced and not boring so this snack is very suitable not only for adults but also for children who are very difficult to eat.
because this snack contains carbohydrates and is low in sugar so it is very good for health.
Please make this recipe yourself and find that you will agree with my opinion. Greetings from Maytom, Indonesia
