Summary of what I learnt from the teachings of bro Eli
The law is in the house of God and the house of God is the church of the living God.
The house of God is the church where all commandments should be obeyed.
In the name of Jesus Christ simply means in the name of the teachings of Jesus Christ.
The commandment God gave us about baptism is to baptize in the name of father which is God the father NOT with the name or by the name. And it is where the name of God the father is, is where we should be baptized
Deuteronomy 12:5
But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:
There is a place where the name of God is and that is the house of God. We should all receive baptism where the name of God is.
We are all baptized in one body.
1Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we bebond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
The church has many symbolises which are: house, body, city, nation etc.
Baptism should be done in the right place which is in the name of God and the name of God is in the church of God.
There is only one body we can be baptized in which is in the church of God that is where the one spirit is.
Ephesians 4:5
5one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Baptism is an act of faith. Baptism should be done in the name of the father not with the name of the father.
We should be vigilant because the enemies of God are using the name of God in vain, they take it and put it in the wrong place
Matthew 24:4-5
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Psalm 139:20
For they speak against thee wickedly,
And thine enemies take thy namein vain.
The spirit of God of God is in the church. The father name is in the church, the son is the priest and head of the church and the holy spirit dwells in the church. That's where baptism should be done if any man is baptized elsewhere then his baptism is in vain.
Ezra 7:23
Whatsoever is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be diligently done for the house of the God of heaven: for why should there be wrath against the realm of the king and his sons?
We should know that baptism is significant for our salvation.
