Hi everyone 🖐️

My name is Rasine Ugbaka

Today is the 2nd day of May, 2021.

Here's a summary of lessons from today's Bible study tagged " Is a Man's Fate under the control of God? (Part 1 of 2)

Anybody whose faith and believe is based on information from the written word of God, has the answers we seek.

Genesis 2:16-17 And the LORD God cammanded the man saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat;
Verse 17 says but of the tree of the knowledge of good and of evil thou shall not eat of, For in the day thou rarest there of thou shall surely die.

We notice that God gave the first man and woman something after Creation, it was the command that, every fruit and tree in garden was edible (and God said unto Adam that every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat.)

This shows Adam's freedom of choice, even the tree of the knowledge of good and of evil was prohibited to him.

Adam had the the choice and power to choose to eat of the tree🌲🌲 only that his choice had grave consequences.

It was more than eating the fruit of the tree but a choice to choose obedience to God or disobedience.

Obedience attracts God's blessings but disobedience has a penalty. This makes us realize that God is a God of love.
Who'll always warn us to show His love and care for us, not wanting us to perish.

Genesis 2:16-17 takes our attention to the loving-kindness and the concern of God for us. He doesn't want us to go into perdition.
This implies that inspite of God's love and admonition, if we are going to choose what is against His will then, there will always be penalties or consequences for our action and indecision.

Summarily, yes, man's fate is under God's control but subject to our choices.
