Why Do People Die
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain even of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Acts 17:28
This verse from the book of Acts tells us that we are all connected to God. We are all part of his grand design. This means that there is a purpose to our lives and that we are not just random beings floating through the Universe. Even the poets of ancient Greece understood this concept.
When we understand this, it can change the way we live our lives. We can start to see the beauty and order in the Universe, and we can know that we are part of something much bigger than ourselves.
In Ecclesiastes 8:8, we read that no man has power over the wind to contain it, and likewise, no one has power over the day of his death. This is a sobering reminder that, no matter how much control we think we have over our lives, there are some things that are beyond our power.
Death is one of those things. It is the great equalizer, and it does not discriminate. It comes to us all, rich or poor, young or old. And once it has come, there is nothing we can do to change the fact.
This verse is a reminder to us that we should not waste our lives chasing after things that don't matter. Instead, we should focus on living each day to the fullest and making the most of the time we have been given.
Scripture tells us that God has appointed a day when he will judge the world with justice. This day is coming, and all of us will be called to account for our lives. This is a time of great judgment, and all of us must be prepared for it.
We must all examine our lives and see if we are living in accordance with God's will. We must ask ourselves if we are living in a way that is pleasing to God. If we are not, then we must repent and turn away from our sinful ways. We must seek forgiveness from God and ask him to help us live according to his will.
The day of judgement is coming. We must all be prepared for it.
All men are appointed to die once and after that to face judgment. This is a solemn truth that we must all come to terms with. Death is an inevitable part of life, and it is something that we must all face at some point.
While it is difficult to think about, it is important to remember that death is not the end. We will all be judged for our actions in life, and this is something that we should all take seriously. After we die, we will be held accountable for our choices and we will be judged accordingly.
