6 Running, 9" X 12", Acrylic Gelli Print on Paper
Today, I tried something new - I used the Artograph to project horses onto the backs of a few different prints that I displayed yesterday - because I can't really see the outline clearly on the printed side, nor can I necessarily draw on it with a pencil - so for the top set, I projected on 3 different prints and for the black ones, I projected onto one print.
Then I cut them all out, which I don't really enjoy that much.
I made a substrate/background on the Gelli Plate using a brayer "land" colors.
I glued them all down with a glue stick. I tried to put in some detail, which I don't really like. If I want to do that, I will have to get some "Posca" pens that people are using with Gelli Prints - I think they are Acrylic Paint pens.
When I turned over the black horses, the paint had an eye right in the correct place for an eye which was miraculous and a confirmation that I am on the right track.
I am going to make mistakes in this learning process, which is why I have never tried it before. I don't like limbo while I am learning.
I am going to be using this process by Rudolf Steiner which I talk about on my blog, ultimately, https://intuitiveart.net/wild-mustangs/13-mystical-days-365-day-art-challenge-fundraiser/ and where you can download the instructions and join me if you like...and the products of this project are all for charity - To raise awareness about the Bureau of Land Management's continuous inhumane round-up of Wild Horses in the USA.
The Charity that I am raising money for is Great Escape Mustang Rescue. Freedom for All Sentient Beings.
