Vintage theme for April BuJo

My bullet journal for March was very colorful and I was enjoying how much I can use my colorful pens and not be afraid that it would look "out of theme" lol. Color coding the tasks and stuff also makes me see/read them easier since I can easily group them in my mind.

For April, of course I was late to make it as usual since I prioritized some other things which I will be able to talk about in next posts or so. Anyway... I miss using my black gel pens cos they're nice to use and I also want to have a more simple theme for this month since I have to rush making it. So I have chosen a vintage theme for April. :D

I usually print stuff to use as stickers for my theme but this time I have enough vintage-themed stationery that I didn't have to do that. I have papers and washi tapes that I haven't used yet so I am excited to use them for this month.

In my previous months, I would have one big spread just saying "January" or "February" and I realized that costs too much since I have to use two pages. It didn't make sense for me anymore haha since I also have limited notebook. This time around, I just put the month and calendar for one page and the habit tracker on the other. It saves me so much space. :D

I also have alphabet stamps, month stamps, and days of the week stamps which I am now using and it was so fun using them. It feels and looks like I did it with my typewriter which also fits my vintage (okay maybe vintage is not the right term but you get what I mean haha) theme. Also it's so convenient that I have that empty calendar squares as a stamp which I used for the habit tracker. All of these supplies I bought a few months ago when I was obsessed with it lol.

I went straight to this spread since I put the brain dump page somewhere else. :D Same layout as my previous months... The familiarity makes it easier for me to remember that this spread exist and also so I would use them efficiently.

The "April" is also a stamp but I just wrote on top of it with black marker too since the stamping material couldn't hold much ink.

Then start immediately with weekly. I have noticed that there are times that I don't use the whole box and would only write a few stuff (I know, I've been trying to be consistent lol) so I wanted to make the task box smaller. I also wanted to record some of the effects of a medicine that I'm currently taking at the moment so I just decided to separate the daily boxes into two so I can put those there.

You can see there are a lot of crooked stamps and some edges of the stamps that aren't supposed to be there but honestly I like it. I also did this whole thing in just 4 hours and I wasn't afraid of the mistakes or the "imperfections" but I was just chill about it.

I also love those stickers. I didn't print them at all. I just had them here. :D

And by the end of the week, I have those reflections and brain dump page.

I like the theme so much and I love that I didn't even overthink it. It was made on a rush mode but not with my mediocre mode if you know what I mean. This is what I need... to be able to make mistakes and just accept it and not worry about those tiny unimportant things.

I hope you like this theme as well!

🥰I love it. In my April BuJo I placed the Focus guided by you. The design is great. And how cool to have stamps. Also the typography is great. I want to buy Washi. But I still can't get nice designs.

Thanks for sharing and being an inspiration.

Oh nice to hear that I inspired you! Washi tapes are so coool, you can just rip them off and they won't damage your paper. They're also just so thin that you don't worry about making your notebooks bulky. :D

This is nice, Mangita ko ani murag na suya ko kay simple ug organize

Lisod jud pag dili organized ang thoughts ug tasks para sa ako kay katag jud sila everywhere hahah.

This spread is just amazing. I am a big fan of the collage and vintage look you went for here. And am very impressed by how neatly you layed everything out, sepcially the stamps. I dont have number stamps at the moment but am feeling inspired to get my letter stamps out and do something similar for my bujo!

Thank you! I guess having those previous designs gave me the idea on what I need and don't need and where to lay down everything. I also got the hang of the stamps, thankfully it was easy to get used to it as at the beginning I would press too hard that the rest of the material got ink too lol. Hope you can find your stamps, they're really really fun!!

Are you going to make a school note book or maybe a office diary book.

Hohohoh. Either way this is pretty cool, when we would create character pages on notebooks. We like to decorate the corners with random stuff.

This reminds me of that.

Hahah yeah I'm not in any school or office setting so having this motivates me to write and organize too. Ah yeah I think I know what you mean. I'm also a big border fan, at one point I was putting too much borders on my MS word files that it looks too "unprofessional" haha. Fun times

Same brain cell moment

I love it. Those stamped numbers are really cute!
