Estaba pensando hoy en la navidad y me puse a buscar una foto de la última navidad que pasé con mis dos hijos, antes de que mi hijo emigrara, eso sería la navidad del 2018, pero no logré encontrar ninguna. Tendré que preguntar a mi hija si tiene alguna. Y es que esta navidad 2024, será la primera en la que estaremos todos juntos después de tantos años y eso me tiene muy emocionada.
Mientras buscaba esas fotos, encontré esta de agosto de 2019, unos meses antes de que mi hijo emigrara y en esa epoca él y yo estabamos muy delgados. Ahora nos vemos muy cambiados.
La foto es de los 15 años de una sobrina. Una fiesta que mi hermana y su esposo hicieron a fuerza de ahorrar mucho, durante mucho tiempo y con muchos sacrificios, pero era un sueño que tenian de hacerle a su hija una fiesta en grande. Nosotros no sabiamos si podriamos ir porque no teniamos ropa adecuada, pero al final lo logramos con el apoyo de familiares y amigos. ¡La pasamos buenisimo!
Ya sabiamos que mi hijo emigraria en unos meses y estabamos preparando todo, por eso era aun más importante para mí que asistiramos todos juntos. No tengo muchas fotos de ese día, pero si muy hermosos recuerdos.
Cuando mi hijo se fue lloré durante mucho tiempo y ahora que estamos juntos otra vez no me cabe tanta felicidad en el pecho. Estoy muy agradecida con Dios por la oportunidad de tener a mi familia reunida nuevamente.

I was thinking about Christmas today and I started looking for a photo of the last Christmas I spent with my two children, before my son emigrated, that would be Christmas 2018, but I couldn't find any. I'll have to ask my daughter if she has any. This Christmas 2024 will be the first one we'll all be together after so many years and that makes me very excited.
While I was looking for those photos, I found this one from August 2019, a few months before my son emigrated and at that time he and I were very thin. Now we look very different.
The photo is from a niece's 15th birthday party. A party that my sister and her husband made by saving a lot, for a long time and with many sacrifices, but it was a dream they had of giving their daughter a big party. We didn't know if we could go because we didn't have the right clothes, but in the end we made it with the support of family and friends. We had a great time!
We already knew that my son would emigrate in a few months and we were preparing everything, so it was even more important for me that we all attended together. I don't have many photos of that day, but I do have very beautiful memories.
When my son left, I cried for a long time and now that we are together again, I can't contain so much happiness in my chest. I am very grateful to God for the opportunity to have my family together again.
