First of all, have a wonderful and merry celebration. I was tagged by @litguru, who was so thoughtful about sending me 22 Hive and has me in his thoughts. Apparently, Hive Advent was proposed by @bozz. I wanted to return it to him, but I reckon we canโt just do this back and forth :D
I heard of Advent calendars, but Iโve never celebrated them. This is the first year that Iโd love to know more about it. The history behind this Advent calendar is pretty fascinating, too. Still, instead of doing the secular custom of the Advent Calendar, I am currently using it to do daily bible scripture. Iโve been feeling incredibly grateful lately, and this year is the year when I was on rock bottom and finally came out of it. So, Iโll use the rest of the year to be grateful for everything and hoping to have more strength to face the following year.
Anyway, I have a few lists in mind, but this year, I wanted to pass the torch to @shanibeer. I trust sheโs also in the loop, and I sincerely wish her a happy and festive holiday. I first received 22 Hive from @litguru, and I am passing it along to @shanibeer for 23.I decided not to keep one. Last but not least, added a memo: Hive Advent to it.
The rule is pretty simple: keep on and pass the rest on to the next person. I didnโt keep one, but I just added one. Hopefully, by the end of the advent calendar, it will have found a better use.

Religion doesn't matter. It doesn't even matter if you celebrate Christmas, this is just something fun I wanted to do.
Don't be a dick and keep all the HIVE for yourself. The idea is for you to keep one HIVE and then pass the rest on. Be sure you can trust the person you send this to before you send the HIVE.
Try to wait a day before you send along the remaining HIVE. The idea is that by the time we reach Christmas we are at 1 HIVE left and the last person keeps that. If we blow through all the HIVE before we get to December 5th, that is going to be kind of lame. I mean, if it happens it happens, but let's try to keep it from happening.
When you send the HIVE please put hive advent in the memo field.
I don't want to mess up anyone's posting schedule, but try to write a post about when you send the HIVE. Please use the tag #hiveadvent and try to include these rules in the post so the next person knows what to do.

I noticed one thing though. You were supposed to keep one hive for yourself from the 21 I sent you. So, you had to send @shanibeer 20, not 23. It's counting down so you get to keep a little gift. Maybe @bozz can tell us how he would resolve this. ๐
UPDATE: Nevermind, I just saw the reason for this.
I was thinking I would just keep one hive and pass the rest on and someone lucky at the end will get more than one HIVE on christmas day.

I remembered the HIVE torch, but along the way actually some add on to the torch.
Using Advent is fun. I have also started observing advent through bible studies, not really following the tradition to a tee (exactly that means)
It's inspired by Hive torch, I hope that someone passes this torch to you hehe. That's also cool of you, I mean Christmas is near and I personally think it's a lot rewarding to spend it on getting closer to God and also understand bible more.
The Hive Advent Calendar is a great idea friend. I also love how youโre adding daily bible scriptures it makes it more meaningful. I wishing you strength and blessings ahead of the new year.
