Wybrałem się dziś spacerkiem na Grand Place do Mons zobaczyć jak w tym roku wygląda świąteczny jarmark. Okazało się, że jest dokładnie taki sam jak w ubiegłym roku. Zdziwiło mnie trochę, że mimo wczesnej pory, w poniedziałek około południa, tak dużo ludzi rozgrzewało się "win chaud" i innymi trunkami. Według stereotypów to Słowianie więcej piją, może i tak jest, ale nie od rana. Za kilka dni wrócimy tam pewnie z żoną, bo lubimy takie klimaty, wtedy też będziemy rozkoszować się grzanym winem.
[ENG] I went to the Grand Place in Mons today to see what the Christmas market looked like this year. It turned out to be exactly the same as last year. I was a bit surprised to see so many people warming themselves up with 'chaud wines' and other drinks, despite the early hour, around midday on a Monday. The stereotype is that Slavs drink more, and maybe they do, but not from early in the morning. My wife and I will probably go back there in a few days, because we like the atmosphere, and we will enjoy the mulled wine.
Po powrocie do domu powalczyłem chwilę w kuchni, uspokoję wszystkich, nic nie gotowałem, mam do wykończenia uszczelnienie wokół zlewu. Pierwotnie było wykonane z przezroczystego silikonu, który zmatowiał i gdzieniegdzie odpadł. Usunąłem stary silikon i położyłem nowy, ale nie byłem zadowolony z efektu. Dlatego teraz kombinuję z kolorowym silikonem. Z jednej strony położyłem na próbę biały silikon, a z drugiej szary. Poczekam do jutra, żeby zobaczyć efekty przy dziennym świetle. Na mój gust szary wygląda lepiej, ale to musi rano żona ocenić.
[ENG] When I got home, I struggled in the kitchen for a while, I'll reassure everyone, I didn't cook anything, I have a seal around the sink to finish. It was originally clear silicone, which had tarnished and fallen off in places. I removed the old silicone and replaced it with new silicone, but I wasn't happy with the result. I am now experimenting with coloured silicone. I put white silicone on one side for a test and grey on the other. I will wait until tomorrow to see the effect in daylight. I think the grey looks better, but that's for my wife to judge in the morning.
