Looking back at some photos of Max on my phone, some of them stand out for the same reason: his sad-looking face, which might not even be true. Sometimes, when he's just waiting for me to do something or throw him his toy, he might make the same face. He doesn't even need to try, his standard face helps him get anything he wants most of the time.
