Wednesday is typically my last day to film and edit the student newscast before our Thursday air date. Yesterday was no different, and we finally got to record the feature on our championship-winning soccer team. It was also our first newscast of the season with the students recording their stories with video rather than audio only.
The other 6th grade math teacher is still absent, so I've been covering her classes for most of the week, which means less time to my own. But I still managed to sneak out for a little afternoon walk for some fresh air and a sliver of sun. My run of 10K+ steps is up to 11, and I have found a good rhythm to my day.
