Health is relative. There is no such thing as a generalizable “healthy” or “unhealthy” food. Ideally, you want to hit your recommended daily amounts (RDAs) of nutrients, and some foods have more nutrients than others, but cramming nutritious foods into your diet that you don’t enjoy will most likely be unsustainable in the long term (and will not get buy-in from your family). For individualized help, it's really best to speak to a registered Dietician (not necessarily a nutritionist, because they are unlicensed and can just make stuff up). A good Dietician will contextualize your goals relative to your needs and lifestyle and give you meal plans and strategies. They are, of course, expensive, so I've included a bunch of links for free resources below to help.
There is a book I would recommend: Eat to Beat Depression and Anxiety by Dr. Drew Ramsey. He goes through some research showing how certain nutrients seem to impact mental health, though I would take that part with a grain of salt (pun intended 😉) because research in that area has an exorbitant amount of limitations. What's good about his book is he offers practical strategies and doesn't take an elimination-based approach. In other words, he doesn't tell you not to eat certain foods but gives you strategies to add nutrient dense foods to what you're already eating.
For example, he suggests adding 1-2 packed cups of chopped, leafy greens (e.g., broccoli, kale, spinach, etc.) into your food per day. So, chop up some broccoli at the beginning of the week and portion it into containers to have on the side at each meal if you're not able to incorporate it into the meal otherwise. Another one is get "rainbows" in every meal (i.e., get every colour of the rainbow from fruits and veggies).
You can also go on Coursera.org or Alison.com and find a ton of free courses on nutrition and "healthy eating" if you just search for those terms.
