RE: Double training: October 11 2024

It's a fairly recent, 2021, ASUS TUF F15. Soldered RAM is not really that common, as I've upgraded the RAM on a great many, both mine and those of others. I think it's in some of the lower-end models, but in my many years of working with computers, both desktops and laptops, I've never seen it.

I almost always have many apps open at any particular time, usually the same ones, and with a Qortal node running that can use 50% of my total RAM, and it does bog down a little sometimes. Yes, I'd also need to open lots of tabs in Brave, as because I rarely use it, it has maybe one or two opened. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I didn't expect you to say that you upgrade the RAM of (the laptop) computers of other people, as well as you have already spent many years of working with (desktop and laptop) computers. 🤔🤯

Your #Qortal node using up about 50% of the free RAM (which is 16 GB) of your laptop sounds huge! 🤯 Renting a VPS for such purpose would practically be worth more than $15. 🤯💸😅

Hahaha...well, the topic didn't really come up, so I had no reason to mention it, but yeah, I've been a tech geek for many many years now.

Well, I can adjust how much RAM that it can use, but 50% was a percentage where my node does the best. It was 40%, but I still had issues, so I tested it at 50%, and it asas notably more stable. Perhaps, but as I've said, I like to have full control over my setup and system. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
