When Kingfishers see fish on the surface of the water, they dive and catch them at high speed. They are mostly seen catching small fish. Kingfishers live in holes. There are many holes on the steep slopes of the water bodies. This is their home. Although the bird is a predator, it is very shy. So it is very difficult to take photos of the bird.
