"Black-Crowned Night Heron"

Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are some new shots and these again were taken at a local lake, a lake that never gets stocked with fish but has tones of different types of bird species. This bird here, the Black-Crowned Night Heron is amazing, the white, grey and blue makes this an amazing bird to take pictures of and this lake is the hot spot for this species for sure. I have more shots but today I will post four of them, with the black and white versions. I'll do another post later down the road of this one, the adult and the Juveniles, they look way different before they turn into these colors. Now lets get into these shots, the cover shot, I love it, I do wish however that my lens focused more on the eyes instead of the top of the head but this guy was right in front of me looking at me just like this. Was he judging me, maybe but regardless love these moment and I only got three shots off til he moved his head. I never got a chance again to shoot these, I do wish though and maybe another day. Now the next shot below, is a full body shot and it is a cool detailed shot to show with this group of pictures here today.
Here is another close up but not to close, I am highlighting one of the features here that makes this bird so cool to me, the two tails that these birds have when they are grown up. So cool and I have posted many of cool ones in the past with them whipping around. Wish to get more like that but this time didn't get to many with the whipping around.
In this last shot here today, one that I would love to get even better but still cool shot to get with not such great quality. Maybe I cropped to much and tried to bring the noise down that made it this way but this is a hard shot to get, one on any bird that is hard to get really good, coming at you and yours lens. I will take it though, better to get then not get any, so I hope on more times to get them in the future.
