some street art in the city

some street art in the city

Good Morning, day, evening or night, depending on the time you happen to be reading this, either way may you have a good one

For today I will share a few shots of some street art i saw on a semi recent walk, I was downtown to visit city hall to get some documents, and after getting that done I took a stroll around the area, I mostly visit this area early morning when its still pretty dark so it looks quite different during the day.
and an area called Wings Court was open, a couple of years ago it used to be open all the time, but this year they have bene locking the gates to this area, so I dont get to check it out in my early morning walks.

I do wonder why they lock it up at night my only guess is perhaps at night some people must have been going in and doing some sort of vandalism and damaging property and such

but whats cool about this spot for me is there is that there is a cool variety of street art there, and thats what I will share today

Starting with this cool piece that has bene there since i moved here but it still catches my eye whenever I see it

the Ship I guess is paying tribute to New Bedfords Rich history and a sailing and fishing all be it whaling back in the day

this next piece was new for me to see on this vist, and I think it is cool and makes quite a statement

and finishing off with some more graffiti style , now I dont likeit when people tag places such as businesses, or as happenned here a bit a year or so ago on peoples houses or garages, but when its a spot like this where it is if not welcomed, not frowned upon I think it is cool

The ship one really caught my eye – it’s like a tribute to the past, but still feels fresh.

It's pretty amazing what these artists can do with a can of spray paint or whatever they use these days. It always impresses me. Thanks for sharing these!

Good morning dear friend @tattoodjay how are you?
What beautiful street art you have there, all the works are beautiful
Beautiful photographs, I appreciate you letting us know about these works of art
Have a beautiful day

That ship is really cool! It looks like there is some great street art around there. It's nice to see art that improves the city and isn't garbage graffiti. Great shots from that stroll through the city!

Stunning street art share, some for the gallery others more in line with what one would find in many parts of the world.

Very cool street art. I like the first one with the ship the most. I have been itching to get out in my area to check out some.

Beautiful selection of StreetArt especially the b&w portrait with letterings.
You could have posted in the StreetArt community 😉
Have a great day

It is interesting to see these graffiti, they are real artists who make them. Inspired by ideas and messages that they want everyone passing by to see.
Very nice your photos so we can also spice up those murals. Well here late at night so
Nice night to you my friend @tattoodjay 🥱🤗

Lots of street art in one post 👍 love the two ships and also the "Missing" milk cartons. Plus the traditional lettering graffiti. Fun post
