The three Marys / Las tres Marías

Greetings, cannabis culture lovers. I harvested these three marys yesterday. They were already mature and I needed space to move other pots to flowering. With this round of pots I want to make some new seeds.

Saludos, amantes de la cultura cannábica. A estas tres marías las coseché ayer. Ya estaban maduras y necesitaba espacio para pasar otras macetas a floración. Con esta ronda de macetas quiero hacer algunas semillas nuevas.

I plant three or four regular seeds in each pot to ensure that at least one is female. In this case it was two in one pot and one in another.

Planto tres o cuatro semillas regulares en cada maceta para asegurar que como mínimo, una sea hembra. En este caso fueron dos en una maceta y una en otra.

The pots are about 1.5 liters (0.4 gal) and no comercial fertilizer or any other type of product has been added. Only water corrected with citric acid and homemade worm humus.

Las macetas, son de 1,5 litros, más o menos, y no se ha añadido fertilizante comercial ni ningún otro tipo de producto. Solo agua corregida con ácido cítrico y humus de lombriz casero.

On one of the plants, from the bottom, you can see that seeds were forming. It seems to have been pollinated a little by the hermaphrodite plant that escaped me. Nothing serious. The tips were clean of seeds.

En una de las plantas, por la parte de abajo, se puede ver que se estaban formando semillas. Parece que la polinizó un poco la planta hermafrodita que se me escapó. Nada grave. Las puntas estaban limpias de semillas.

This is the next box I will cut. Some are already mature and others have a few days left. I will start tomorrow with the ones that are already mature, and I will cut them as they mature.

Esta es la siguiente caja que cortaré. Alguna ya está madura y a otras les quedan algunos días. Empezaré mañana por las que ya están, e iré cortando a medida que maduren.

As you can see they are a bit wilted because I water them very little. I detected two mold spots and drastically cut the watering. The mold has disappeared and there are no new spots of infection. With a relative humidity of 65 - 80% I have to keep a close eye out for any new outbreaks.

Como se puede ver están un poco mustias porqué las riego muy poco. Detecté dos foco de moho y les corté el riego drásticamente. El moho ha desaparecido y no se ven nuevos puntos de infección. Con una humedad relativa del 65 – 80% tengo que estar muy atento por si aparece algún foco nuevo.

My wasp friends have also returned. First the black and yellow ones arrive and then these ones arrive. These are solitary and settle in the reeds on the terrace. They do not leave until winter. When they are adults they feed on nectar, but when they are larvae they feed on worms. The adult wasp uses the reeds to make compartments with mud where it lays the larvae and a reserve of maggots for them to feed on. They leave the plants on the terrace clean of worms. They are a delight, I love them. This year I think they will have to bring the worms from somewhere else because I haven't seen any worm marks on the terrace.

También han regresado mis amigas las avispas. Primero llegan la negras y amarillas y luego llegan estas. Estas son solitarias y se instalan en el cañizo que hay en la terraza. No se van hasta el invierno. Cuando son adultas se alimentan de néctar, pero cuando son larvas se alimentan de gusanos. La avispa adulta utiliza las cañas para hacer compartimentos con barro donde pone las larvas y una reserva de gusanos para que se alimenten. Dejan las plantas de la terraza limpias de gusanos. Son una delicia, me encantan. Este año creo que tendrán que traer los gusanos de otro sitio porqué en la terraza no he visto marcas de gusanos.
