It may have had some Pink tones when the strain was first cultivated, possibly under the right growing conditions it would show Pink, maybe it never really showed Pink and that was just a name it picked up. The parent genetics of the Pink Kush strain are unknown, but it's rumored to be cultivated from an OG Kush variety, so it's possible when the leaves started going purple they just went with pink. Leaves have more chance of going purple with cooler temperatures, I'll have to wait and see what these buds look like when mature, if the bud leaves go purple, the white trichomes on on top could give a Pink look. Purple strain buds are like that too, often there's not even a hint of purple :) The Pink Kush may not turn out Pink, but the flavor and buzz will be as it should be with that strain.
