Yeah, I have someone that stays with her, someone she, (and I) trust to do the right thing. I'd never put her in a cattery, I just don't trust them. I'm looking forward to seeing her soon.

Yeah I could never put either pet in a cattery or kennel. Pet jail. Having someone stay or pet-sit, is ideal
I've heard too many bad stories about pet boarding facilities and knew someone who had a German Shepherd come back a changed dog after being in one. I'll never do it. The house-sitter is a better option as it looks after the house and the pet at the same time.
Yeah that sounds terrible. Sounds like the dog experienced some sort of trauma and if that's the case that is super messed up.
Yep, we think it was beaten. It went from being a happy dog to cowering in fear. It made me want to go there and beat down all the humans. I didn't though. (Or did I?) (I actually didn't.) (Should have though.)
