100 Days of Liberation - Hive Response to Steem
What is it about?
The 100 Days of Liberation is a movement for the busy bees in the Hive community. It is a way for you to show your 100% support of Hive over Steem. It is very easy for you to participate; all you have to do is start a 100% power-down on Steem. Your entire power-down will take 91 days.
Every 7 days of your power-down, you will receive some STEEM. This is when you send your STEEM to some exchange and dump it into the hands of some fool that doesn't realize how dead Steem is. This 100 Days of Liberation is to coincide with the absolute ridiculous 100 Days of Steem.
What do I need to do?
- 100% power-down of STEEM
- dump your STEEM weekly for HIVE
- power-up your HIVE
- celebrate freeing yourself from those communist STEEM tokens

When I first heard about the Steem/Hive controversy, I already started this process naturally, and migrated to the new platform and even created a new account.
I eventually realized that I didn't NEED to create a new account, so I'm starting from scratch.
I have already started powering down 100%.

I have something to show you. Can you please correct it in the Hive Vessel wallet.
Delegation of HP upon revoking takes 5 days as cool-down period, not 7 days. But I can see it as 7 days in Vessel wallet. I think you need to correct it. Thanks.

I completed 2 weeks out of 13 already, feeding my HIVE. Thanks to STINC to make this transition more juicy.
Tomorrow a second "wave" of almost 5K Steem becomes liquid and will be added to my Hive balance. Never have and never will "work" under a dictator's regime.
Tonight will be my second power down night, the last week at 100%.
First week went to dcity.io cards (which will be moving to HIVE soon), which will now produce weekly STEEM that will be converted weekly into HIVE =)
This way I don't only take the STEEM I power down into HIVE, but I also take everyone's else playing the game =)
Man I'm wayyy ahead of the pack then because I've been on this for a while now.
Haha same here just wanted to remind people during the 100 Days of Steem bullshit now would be a great time to get a fair price for dumping your STEEM.

Here is by far the best part of the 100 days of steem. Their very first announcement is for something that they have already failed to deliver on. It is for a discord channel they could have made days ago, but it won’t be released for a few days. Nice. #Some things never change.

I'm sure this freezing move by Sun is just a means to temporarily sure up the Steem price and suppress the Hive price.
However he really hasn't grasped that when it comes to Crypto marketing especially, decentralised voices win-out - there's no way he's going to be able to spin this!
Who the fuck is going to buy Steem now, when they learn that he's doing this? I sense a massive backfire coming his way.

Not sure how to trade steem to hive tho. Never did such thing. I'm trying using steem-engine right now, as my first power down finished this week :)

Great idea.
I didn't realize the time it takes to power down would fit so nicely into that '100 days of Steem' timeline.
I probably don't have enough for the minimum limit on most exchanges, but I guess I can still be ready to buy HIVE if the price fluctuates upward enough.
It's the thought that counts, right? 😂
I think I've just done week 3 of my power down, thought it's not 100% I think I left like 10 steem in there so my account still works which now is kinda pointless but oh well.
