The last 15 years of learning changed tremendously, in all aspects of learning.
Since the going viral of the internet many subjects are a few clicks away.
But does it do its job? Only on YouTube there's around eight hundred million guitar video lessons. About any style, technique. What I miss is the simplicity of the basics.
There's a way of being able to improvise
With just the basic five chord shapes. And the relationship with the scales. The modes.
There still seems to be some confusion about it. In the videos I try to explain it in plain language and show the interconnection with the music.
Hopefully to clear up some confusion.
And please let me know if you have more questions, and I'll get back to you.
There's an attachment with the scale of C major. That will be the first with a backing track so you can try to work with it. Along the way try to spot the chords in the map, if you connect 1,3,5 there are the five shapes in which come out if you connect the 1,3,5. In the video I'll show you how.
I would recommend to write the map out so you learn the basics deep. If you watch the video see if you can spot where I play the different shapes C major in five positions.
Enjoy greetings from Spain.
