Introducing myself: I'm Adam, NYC Product Manager and Tech Writer

in #introduceyourself7 years ago

Hi Steemit!

I'm a product manager, programmer and tech writer based in NYC. I've lived here for 16 years(!). Have made websites, apps, and even a video game (nimblestrong.com).

I've been writing a lot about the blockchain, you might have seen some of my pieces over at VentureBeat. I found this community because someone here posted one of my articles and it got a lot of upvotes.

I'm also working on a cryptocurrency project: http://www.bison.gg

Hm...what else. Love the new Blade Runner 2049 film.

Am still trying to figure out how this platform works. The technology is super-impressive but am still not clear about the difference between the three currencies.

That's me, hope to meet you soon!

Welcome to Steemit
Don't forget to read up on "keys" & passwords.
Basically don't log in with your "master key"
Use your private posting key.

TL;DR: You should have ALREADY saved your PASSWORD that was used to generate your keys
Next go to Profile >Wallet > Permissions and copy paste all FIVE keys to a safe place.
(eg a text file on a memory stick)
The “OWNER” key is the ‘master key’, keep it VERY safe
Daily logins for posting should use your Private POSTING key.
Once you have copies saved, log out and log back in with USERNAME & your POSTING key
Hope that helps some.

Whuddup! I saw that you joined recently so I thought I'd say hi and welcome you. Have one upvote from me and never stop posting!
When having a new account it can be hard to recieve big upvotes so maybe you want to try @MinnowPowerUp where you can earn up to 30% more steem power than just directly powering up! It's a subscription based daily upvote bot that draws its power from a delegation pool. I compiled this post to explain the system in more depth and share my own experience in earning wupvotes for over $1 a day.
