Yes. The single most overlooked way to get started on steemit is to find your community. If YOU can't find posts you like....how do you figure there will be anyone interested in your stuff?
Truly. .....community is the key. Find content producers that you enjoy and comment and get to know them. (If they have 1000 or 10,000 followers....you won't gain much meaningful interaction.)
Look for users with rep 40-65 that are getting 25 comments per post or less....about topics that interest you. Comment....question...interact.... And you never know. Surviving steemit may then not seem so hard. Are you on discord yet? What about www.steemit.chat ??? These are good places to start interacting with people.
It isnt rocket science, but it isn't "easy" either. But is it worth it????
Only you can answer that!!!
(I just happened to see your post as I just Posted....yours appeared seconds after mine on the "NEW" page. I feel ya. And I hope this helps!!)
Thanks, thats a really good tip, and yea im on discord...and i found the steem poker league, a great bunch of people there and free SBD tournys all day long. I will look for other hobbies and interests. Thanks for your time!
As one minnow to another - I feel your pain :)
Followed!
Sure. You really answered my question too cos' I'm relatively new on this platform. Yesterday, I spent almost my whole day on steemit and really it was worth it.
I will buy your idea on finding the right community and also interacting.
Thanks!
Cool! Glad I could help!!
