Serious stream of conscience. I really enjoyed that style of writing, you're a gas man, as we'd say here in Ireland.

Ah the Irish.
I know I shouldn't pick favorites but your people are up there high on my list. But I'll admit I don't know what you're saying half the time... LOL!
I had to look that up. I'm glad you enjoyed this, and got a good laugh. Plus I learned something new! Thanks for that.
Oh it's fine to have favourites, so long as it's us Irish! 🤣
I'm Canadian. Some of my best friends are Irish. Born in Canada though. But they'll tell you they're Irish. That's how it is here. The people keep their roots.
Ah Canada, very nice!! A few really good friends of mine live in Vancouver and absolutely love it and now have dual Irish and Canadian citizenship.. They are always asking me to come visit and go skiing in Whistler and enjoy all that Vancouver has to offer..
Yes, I like that people seem to want to hold onto these roots and it is understandable as your ancestors typically are only on your Continent for 200 to 400 years typically. It's always nice to have that nod and connection to the past, in fact I was only writing about this yesterday, as I have some old China (cups and saucers) that when I pass them to my kids will be their Father's Father's Mother's Mother's cups. I think that's pretty damn cool - I really wouldn't want to be the one to break one by accident :)
Certainly wouldn't want to be responsible for breaking history. Apparently that could destroy the whole spacetime continuum or set the stage for unfavorable events in the future never destined to be. Or wait. No. That was Back to the Future. I always get these things mixed up.
I haven't been everywhere but I do know the west coast of Canada is one of the nicest places around. Massive flood disaster out that way this past year though. A few of my friends were affected. That's just the way the world goes sometimes I guess.
