An Off-Day

I decided to take today off from working out! My legs are actually not bothering me a whole lot and I could probably have gone running today (despite my gruelling 5k jog yesterday!) but I’ve been feeling extremely cramped up all day and I haven’t felt like doing anything apart from wrapping myself up in blankets and reading. I still have to go out tonight, but I believe that is my limit. I’ll try to fit in some jogging tomorrow…maybe after my class actually! That’s such a great idea, because I’ll already be at school, and then I can do the track thing again! I realized yesterday how much I enjoy jogging around a track. It’s so much easier to measure my milestones and push myself that extra 200m.

Anyway, I’ve been so bad lately for eating junkfood and I think part of it is that I haven’t been writing regularly on here so I haven’t been as accountable. I will start again today, I promise! I NEED to stay on track because I want to look HOT in family photos at the sea! I also need to stay motivated so that I can push myself to get a new pair of runners. My lower legs and the muscles around my ankles hurt when I jog, and Red said it’s probably because of my shoes. I’m glad she said that, because it’ll be extra motivation to me! I don’t just WANT new shoes, I NEED new shoes. It’s so nice when your wants really ARE your needs! Then you feel totally justified, or like something has aligned itself in the universe and it’s fighting for you! Did that make sense? Sometimes I just get carried away in my excitement of new shoe-ness!

Anyway, I’m going to finish this up and make dinner. I’ll post more tomorrow!!

Workout: None, it’s an off-day!

Junk food: 3/4 of a box of Chewy Gobstoppers! I shouldn’t have done it…I only wanted a few anyway, but the closer I got to the end, the easier it was to push myself and say, “There’s only a few left!” I couldn’t actually see the end of the box though, and it turns out there were more than a few. SIGH I wish I hadn’t. I need to be more aware of this weakness of mine and set a limit BEFORE I start eating so that I know EXACTLY when to stop myself. I’ll have to work on this tomorrow.
