One example that is very applicable to Steem is with online interactions. When interacting with others over a distant and impersonal medium such as the internet I think we often lose sight of the fact that the person on the other end of the computer screen is a human being - just like ourselves.

Happens a lot. The "other" suddenly feels like a character. A concept. Even an enemy.

I guess it is easier that way. It is scary.
