Hello Steemians!
I am not in the mood for sending out proposals today because of my bad migraine. This is the moment when I just wanted to just lay down and don't care about the world.
Thank God, I am in my crib right now where no one's going to bug and distract me and worsen my throbbing head. I was going through my Facebook account t check on the work-from-home peeps, and check if there's any job that could fit my qualification when I stumbled upon a full movie.
MIDNIGHT SUN, it is!
Watch the trailer below.
The movie talks about a teenage girl who could not get out to the sun because she has a deadly illness called XP, and could cause her life once she's exposed. She grew up sleeping all day and awake all night.
She managed to graduate high school through homeschooling, with the support of her very affectionate dad and her ever loyal and cool best friend Morgan. Everything turned out pretty well with all her check-ups and doctor appointments until one night, when she met for the first time face-to-face, her long-time childhood crush.
You should go watch the significant turn of events after that one night.
I admit, I cried... a little!
This movie reminded me of the classic film A Walk To Remember which starred Mandy Moore and Shane West.
I was not expecting that this movie could make me cry, too. I thought this was the same old teeny-weeny teenage movies just like the other teen movies around. That's a prejudice, I know.
I did not cry because of the lover's story but what touched me the most is the father-daughter scene of Mr. P and Katie Price. Katie was so concerned about her dad being left alone again once she's going to say goodbye forever, so she decided to register her dad on the online dating site. This scene was so real for me. It breaks my heart to see how Katie let her dad promised her that he should start to become 'selfish'.
I don't want to utter any more spoilers. Anyway, I am sharing the link below in case you want to check out the movie. I'll rate this film an 8 out of 10.
This movie stars Bella Thorne as Katie and Patrick Schwarzenegger as Charlie.
