Just another day at work

in #life7 years ago

Nearing to tax time I spend a lot more of my time out on site driving to and inspecting investment properties than I do in the office. The last few weeks have been pretty crazy, making dead lines and driving around from 6:00 am to 7-8pm without having time for a proper meal or a moment to relax.

My body is craving more movement, a good diet and some time to unwind but then there are days like today…

I’m out of the big cities and close to the ocean. I had time to stop and smell the salty air and enjoy the warmth of the sun on my skin. These are the days that make all the stress worth it.

These are the days I don’t take for granted.

These local kids (aka grommets) were telling me how hectic the surf was.

Thanks for stopping by, wish me luck for the rest of the week.

Peace :)

Fabulous photography Krystal ❤️ You have a natural eye for a good shot it seems. What camera gear do you use?

Thank you Sally, i have my very old but trusty Nikon D3100 with a Sigma DC 18-250mm lens. It's a bit bulky so I'm hoping to get something a little more compact in the coming weeks :) Any recommendations?

Hey Krystal ☺️ The perfect compact size is the photographers dream out in the field for sure. I am also studying options and am undecided at this moment, but will do a post on the decision I come to. I am still using my trusty canon powershot SX60 HS which has a phenomenal zoom and pretty good macro. I use it for everything it’s my only camera right now but am eyeing up a next level model as the jungle climate eats everything mechanical pretty damn fast 🤣 and the zoom is starting to clunk just a little ☺️

My lens is doing the same! I’ve taken it everywhere all over America, Mexico, Bali, Hawaii, through fog and rainforests it’s been exposed to all the elements so it’s nearing its end. I’ve been looking at the Sony a7 iii 📷 a friend of mine uses a Sony a7 for commercial work and he brought it along for our road trip in America. I got to have a go and I like the feel of it, it was easy to use and it produced some really nice photos which would be ideal for my next trip. I haven’t had the chance to shop around or do enough research though🤔 so I’m really looking forward to your post you.

That is quite an endurance test all in all your Nikon has served you very well! Mmm Sony A7, that’s a nice camera, I haven’t checked the 7 iii but will check it out. Where is your next trip going to take you? I am looking forward to your steemit coverage already 😉

Harry and I are heading to South America. We are potentially starting our trip in Chile though it’s not set in stone as yet but it seems it would be the best place for us to start our journey 😊
