Biological Teleportation

in #life8 years ago

The main guy that discovered DNA is Craig Venter, after discovering DNA he is the same guy who mapped his Genome and compared it to an Ape.

After discovering DNA, he went on to create "Synthetic DNA", "Synthetic Life" and "Biological Teleportation". While studying Yeast, he found that if you add some simple compounds, the Yeast will actually use that to make new Chromosomes.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yeast_artificial_chromosome

So from watching yeast, Craig Venter created a machine, this machine can take DNA and convert it into a computer code of 1's and 0's. So DNA is literally not much different than a computer code. The machine that does this is the "Digital Biological Converter".

They can also create DNA by using computer code, and use the Digital Biological Converter to insert that DNA in to an empty cell, and the cell acts like Hardware and the DNA acts like software. It does not matter what kind of cell you use, it will operate as if it is the cell of whatever DNA you put in. The DNA works like a disc and the Cell works like a computer to run the disk.

And because you can turn DNA in to 1s and 0s, you can actually use 1s and 0s to create new strands of DNA that have never existed, and then insert that DNA in to living cells, and it will begin to split and create the new organism.

I watched watched a speech Craig Venter gave and he said that the compounds mixed with Yeast were so simple that he actually didn't want to just say what they were in the speech. And I am pretty sure it is just Amino Acids. Your DNA is made up of Amino Acids, so to give something that makes DNA some Amino Acids is probably the method use in Biological Teleportation. Craig Venter also suggests that we could create new organisms that have never existed before, that can live on Mars with no oxygen and actually produce oxygen from abundant materials on Mars (Maybe Iron and CO2).

Really interesting story thanks, I like this kind of stuff..
