Sang Ibu Kembali Lagi ke Rumah Kontrakan Anaknya
Pada saat sang ibu tiba di rumah kontrakan anaknya sang ibu merasa curiga yang dikarenakan sang anak tidak berada di rumah, setelah dia tanyakan pada tetangga sang anak lagi bekerja sebuah tempat yang tidak diberitahu dimana alamatnya. akhirnya ibu menangis dan terharu kenapa sang anak harus mencari pekerjaan bukannya menuntut ilmu untuk mencapai cita-cita yang dia inginkan, atau memang tidak cukup biaya yang dikirimkan tiap bulannya untuk keperluan sehari-hari.
Tidak berselang beberapa lama, akhirnya anaknya pulang dan merasa kaget dengan tiba-tiba ibunya sudah berada di tempat kontrakannya, sambil terharu dan sangat bahagia akhirnya bisa bertemu dengan anak dan ibunya.
Mereka lupa terhadap apa yang sudah terjadi sebelumnya dengan keharuan yang melanda keduanya dan tetap saling berpelukan satu sama lain. pelukannya sangat erat dikarenakan sudah lama tidak bertemu antara keduanya.
Akhirnya malampun tiba untuk keduanya saling istirahat di kamar dengan memulai berbagai macam cerita, yang dimulai oleh sang ibu kemana saja anakku selama ini tanpa ada kabar berita untuk ibu dan kenapa kamu tidak pernah meminta lagi uang kepada ibu, apakah sudah melupakan ibu.
Dengan perkataan ibunya seperti itu, akhirnya si anak menangis mendengar ucapan sang ibundanya yang sangat dia sayangi dan cintai berkata-kata seperti itu, sehingga timbul pemikiran dalam hatinya apa yang harus aku jawab, apakah harus saya ceritakan apa yag selama ini saya lakukan atau tidak saya ceritakan, dikarenakan kalau saya ceritakan akan menimbulkan rasa kekecewaan dihati sang ibu, dengan perbuatan dan pekerjaan saya sekarang.
Sang Anak Berbohong
Setelah larut dalam keheningan untuk sesaat, akhirnya sang anak belum berani menceritakan yang sebenarnya kepada ibunya, ditakutkan kekecewaan dirasakan oleh ibunya, yang mana selama ini dia sangat sibuk dengan mencari tambahan penghasilan kesana-kemari untuk meringanakan beban orangtuanya.
Pekerjaan sang anak belum tentu bisa diterima oleh sang ibu yaitu bekerja dengan teman laki-lakinya yang dia kenal pada waktu dia kuliah.
Akhirnya sang anak menceritakan kepada ibunya kesibukannya selama ini, bukan tidak iangat kepada ibunda akan tetapi dengan padatnya jadwal kuliah dan banyaknya tugas belajar yang saya selesaikan, sehingga saya kurang istirahat, belajar terus agar tidak mengecewakan sang ibu.
Dengan jawaban yang disampaikan oleh anaknya, ibunya terharu dan tambah sayang kepada anakanya, hilang semua kecurigaan yang selama ini dia pikirkan.
