Remember the first time you bought friends over, or open house at your school, my mother turned into a totally different woman. I heard words like 'sweetie', 'honey' she was smiling, laughing enjoying herself, my friends were saying these crazy things to me, like your mom is so cool. I'm thinking to myself you must have me confused my mom is 'pure evil' yelling, screaming, working, fussing, complaining ...oh the list goes on.
They don't see her when the event is over we get in the car and she transforms back into Mommie Dearest...is that a wire hanger ...NO Mommy Dearest NO!
Anyway, I've heard this from others ...we laugh and laugh, well until one of our Mom's comes in ...I'm guilty myself, remembering my son telling his friend 'love it when you can sleep over, my mom makes snacks, and you can ask for anything....but he can't say I'm as bad as my Mom...she never calls me sweetie!!!!! but other friends Mom's do so MOTHER!
