The Northern California Innocence Project is just one of many Innocence Projects around the United States. It just so happens that there were very few people and places that I could turn to that would listen to me. The NCIP was my saving grace. I was afraid, no...... I was TERRIFIED. I was so scared that I would and could never be loved or forgiven again once I came forward. But what does a small child do when the people she loves and trust the most are telling her to do something that she knows in her heart is wrong....... so very wrong. What you are about to see is a story of how I came forward to set the record straight and clear the name of a very important person from my childhood. He was wrongfully convicted of a crime that he simply did not commit. You will see in this short film that no matter what is happening in your life right now, there is a reason for it. The reason for this was unclear for such a long time. But as fate would have it's way, laws were changed and people that have lost most of their lives are now being released from prison. This is my story........

Justice Delayed But Not Denied-The Exoneration of Ed Easley

However, this has impacted the lives of so many and we are still counting. When you visit the NCIP's website you see so many of these incredible stories. No matter who you are, you can make a difference. Always be a light in the darkness. Make the commitment to be a better version of yourself then you were yesterday.
