I just returned from 6 hour visit to the Emergency Room at Audie Murphy V.A. Hospital.
Anyone who's read my Intro knows they willfully ( IMO ) hurt me pretty badly 12 years ago, the last time I went in there.
The Kidney stone was moving on the right side of my body, and therefore I was afraid it was my Appendix, on the lower right side.
I've been thru this before but not for over a decade and I even thought, kidney Stones, but knowing a ruptured appendicitis can kill you, I chose not to ride it out as i usually would.
They did a CT scan and confirmed i don't have cancer in the gut area.
I have a 1300 White Blood Count, normal is 10.
In the end, the pain subsided and they gave me an acid reflux med and something for pre-tumers to reduce swelling.
Again, 12 years later, they don't aim to cure anything at the VA, they have multiple pharmacies there though.
Kind of gives you some insight in the directive, or objective. Pump the pills, cure nothing.
Anyway, I just walked in, pretty warn out front he whole thing.
MY PLAN OF ACTION:
is to find a solution to dissolve the stones myself. I hate Hospitals, VA is no exception...
I did talk to a couple patients and remembered one thing.
You won't find a bunch of nicer people then the Veterans you find walking the halls of the VA hospital.
I'm sure I'd forgotten. I ran away from the VA and any benefits or services 12 years ago when they willfully hurt me for reporting them to all my elected officials up to and including the Governor of Texas for their lack of treatment.
And it was so hard to go back there this morning, but I though I was dying.
-I'm poor, I don't have the luxury of other options like most people.
All I could think about is is my wife going to be ok without me.
I welcome any and all suggestions to dissolve these stones,
I don't want to drink a bottle of apple cider vinegar, but I will.
That's about all, Thanks for listening.
Roger
My Friend Roger, so happy you came home from the VA with a plan. You certainly have a great deal of courage going back there. You have developed an incredible support system here. God Bless! 🐓🐓
Thank you MommaChick.
Hope you are feeling better today my Friend. 🐓🐓
I've been water fasting, feeling better, not my first run with Kidney Stones,
Thanks MammaChick.
You're a strong man Roger Wilson! It will pass. No pun intended. 🐓🐓
If you go to youtube and do a search for, "dissolve kidney stones naturally", you will come up with a long line of videos of what people did for their kidney stones. Weigh it all in the balance and follow the ones you like best.
Thanks David, yea I did that. The Apple Cider vinegar is the best method, but if you've ever tasted it, you'd agree that you don't want to drink that stuff. I just thiught I'd ask if anyone had other solutions. Thanks for your input. Have a great evening.
Well the other solution is water with fresh lemon juice and separately take a table spoon of olive oil.
Also you're not drinking pure apple cider vinegar are you? Are you mixing 2 table spoons of apple cider vinegar with a glass of water? When I gave up soda I drank water and apple cider vinegar for awhile. Now I mostly drink just water.
Thanks, I'm drinking Water with fresh squeezed lemon & lime. And I haven't started the vinegar,
thanks for the tips, I'd do 2 table spoons. Cheers
I take 3 tablespoons of Raw apple cider vinegar and 3 tablespoons of raw honey in some hot water. It's not bad at all. It just sucks because raw cider vinegar and raw honey are expensive.
yea they are but if it works it's worth a try, getting real honey is a small concern.
