What happens to a person who becomes homeless-

And lives in a 1977 dodge sportsman for almost 2 yrs. The isolation gets to you,and you sort of lose your mind. This was for real. At this point,I was miles away from anyone, and alone with my cat. Cooking on a 1 burner on the floor, and playing Uncharted Waters online, where I left off in 2011. It is one of those things that to experience it, you know how low you have gone, and how hard you hit bottom. I will always remember the feeling, and hope to never repeat it again.
If you watch videos of people off grid, think about it before you glamorize it. It isn't for the weak for sure. Even the strongest person can come crashing down.
As you can see in the video, living space was about 6 ft by 4 ft,not including the overhead bed area. I would never want a 'Tiny House' after being in here.

I spent 2 years living in the back of a Ford Explorer. In fact, we were homeless at the same time.

What it taught me is that how much doesn’t matter, as long as you have enough of your own property to eat and sleep, you won’t be homeless.

Unfortunately for many of us in our late 20’s early 30’s, the idea of just walking into a career, and having enough money to make a down payment on our first house within a few years like our parents were able to isn’t a reality.

So for a lot of us, if we can afford a tiny piece of land and a tiny house, it’s likely the best guarantee against homelessness we could ever hope for.

The key is owning your land...
