Early Flower Monochrome Monday

Springtime, what a wonderful time of year! As I've gotten older, I've certainly learned to appreciate it more than I did when I was younger. I think that's one of the benefits of having kids, it slows you down a little bit to take a step back and appreciate things, "smell the flowers" in a literal sense!

We are coming up on springtime. You know how I know? The crocuses are starting to sprout up from the ground! None of these pictures are from crocuses but they inspired me to look back at some early spring photos for this iteration.

The crocuses are kind of like this flower here, they are ones that prop up every year in the spring. It's a wonderful sight to see them coming out from their winter slumber. When you start to see the green shoots coming up even though there is still cold weather and snow on the ground, you know that springtime and warmer weather is right around the corner!

I think autumn is perhaps my favorite season, but spring is certainly also one that is quite enjoyable. I honestly love all of the seasons for different reasons, they each have their own unique beauty and activities to do during them so we can't really say one way or the other what is the best. The beauty of spring is unlike anything else because it comes after dealing with the harshness of old man winter.

Middle-to-late spring is such a beautiful time as well! The flowers are bloomed on the trees like apple trees and crabapple trees like this one. They give off such a beautiful and wonderful smell, you can see the color all over the place. I played in crabapple trees a lot as a kid but I only knew of them as such because we would take the apples from them and throw them at people LOL I didn't realize how beautiful the trees were in the spring! The flowers are a really nice shade of white and have such a strong and wonderful smell.

We are going on a trip soon and will be driving down a few states. It's going to be nice to see the changing of the seasons as we drive south, seeing the springtime flowers and various adjustment of the atmosphere as we go. I think that was one of my favorite things about the road trip, seeing how different it is as you are driving down, traveling hundreds of miles. The late winter and early spring are a perfect example of how areas differ!

I love black and white pictures and these white flowers are so beautiful every time we get to see them.

To a great extent I still believe that the autumn is a better season than spring

Haha yeah I love autumn for sure but there is something great about spring!

I so much love the quality of this picture most especially the black and white background

Yes indeed I love the black and white nature of it as well!

I like spring because of its aspect of rebirth, bringing nature back to life after its hibernation during winter. The first stages of that are always beautiful to watch and experience.

Yeah for sure! Me too man, I love all the seasons for their own reasons but spring has something magical about it. The rebirth is wonderful to behold!

We’ve got no Autumn or Spring season here but the rainy season is what I love most
I don’t like the mushy lands though

Yeah rainy season helps to reduce the heat for sure. Muddy ground is challenging to deal with though!
